Visual Narrative Project

#1 The Great Rescue

Posted in Digital Media on December 2, 2009 by willaj6

This by far was my favorite visual narrative project. To have the will power to take this many pictures and arrange the figures in each separate one had to take time and must have been extremely frustrating. There was a story that was interesting to follow and funny at times making this an enjoyable video.

#2- Card Game Shot

I thought this narrative was extremely well thought out and put together. To treat each picture the way they did i know took some time and then adding the age affect to the entire video added a great effect. I also thought the music choice was good and the sound effects aligned well with each individual picture.

#3-Stuck in an Elevator

I liked this Visual narrative because of the shots that were taken. I enjoyed watching the journey from one floor to the next and could sense the panic that ws beginning to arise in the character as she was trapped trying to get off of the elevator. I also thought that this video was funny because of it’s relevance to class.

I’ve been to the Mountaintop

I just finished reading Dr. King’s speech delivered on the day before he was shot and I got chills… again.

“If I had sneezed, I wouldn’t have been around here in 1962, when Negroes in Albany, Georgia, decided to straighten their backs up. And whenever men and women straighten their backs up, they are going somewhere, because a man can’t ride your back unless it is bent.”

Reaction coming later….
